1929 Scott Flying Squirrel

Gallery Scott Flying Squirrel

A very fast “breathed on” machine it unfortunately had odd sized pistons in it. This has been rectified and the engine overhauled. Another discovery was when the silencer partially fell off – it felt as though a supercharger had suddenly come on. A clue in the Scott owner’s club magazine led to the silencer outlet being opened up, this had always been too small! The machine runs much better all round and has successfully completed several Banbury runs.
